This first day was spent mostly on the bike. Malmoe, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Kassel and finally, Heidelberg, meant some 900 km on the bike (stops only for petrol and food). The bike, the good weather and the perfect highways in Germany made the trip less tiring than we thought it would. Heidelberg is a wonderful town, beautiful and culturally exciting.
