The day started in brilliant sunshine leaving nothing else to wish for than a good days ride on our Venture. We went south, towards Switzerland , arriving in Zürich around noon. We spent a few hours dreaming about all the thousands of dollars we would like to have in a bank in Switzerland....The village Rapperswiel turned out to be a small paradise! We found one of those camping sites that are so rare. Few places - one free for us - and a friendly and generous atmosphere, thanks to the owner and the other guests (mostly permanent ones). We walked to the centre of the city to enjoy the wonderful architecture and to spend a lovely evening there. The next morning we visited the nearby village Freienbach, and guess what we saw in a motorcycle shop? (answer: see picture below)
